==================================================================
CLIENT FIXES
- Fixed an exploit that worked around the firing delay on ranged units.
- Fixed a scenario editor trigger corruption bug introduced in version 1.03. Any scenarios saved using version 1.03 that contain "Set Tech Status" triggers may have had some of their parameters cleared and will have to be manually repaired.
NETWORK AND ESO FIXES
- Another "stats error 2,4" problem is now fixed.
==================================================================
Patch 1.03 - fixes an exploit, balance concerns and ESO issues.
==================================================================
CLIENT FIXES
==================================================================
Patch 1.02 - fixes an exploit, some balance concerns and a couple of ESO issues.
==================================================================
CLIENT FIXES
- Fixed some possible timing exploits.
- Scenarios where the "Ulfsark" unit is forbidden no longer allow Ulfsarks to still be created from Dwarves or Gatherers.
- Unit Balance Adjustments (NOTE: Save games from versions 1.00 and 1.01 will not be affected by the balance changes. Recorded games from versions 1.00 and 1.01 are still supported and will replay as before):
• Odin now gets his hunting bonus. The actual change was to increase Odin Villager and Dwarf hunting rate from +10% to +20%.
• Thor's Pig Sticker improvement now affects hunting rate. The actual change was to increase hunting rate from +10% to +20%.
• Loki's Ox Carts are now weaker instead of stronger. The actual change was to subtract 80 hitpoints from Loki Ox Carts.
• Raiding Cavaly have +10% more Pierce and +5% Hack Armor. This should let Norse counter archers more easily in the Classical Age.
• Norse Longhouse now costs 110 Wood instead of 130 Wood. This will let Norse make more Longhouses.
• Isis Obelisks now cost 10 Gold instead of 5 Gold. This should prevent Isis from making quite so many Obelisks.
• Egyptian Barracks now cost 75 Gold instead of 50 Gold. This will prevent Egyptians from making quite so many Barracks.
• Ancestors now have 140 hitpoints instead of 180 hitpoints. This makes the God Power a bit weaker, but will also affect Mummy Minions.
• Hippikons now take 20 seconds to train in Classical. They remain at 15 seconds in Heroic and Mythic. This should make it harder for Poseidon especially from having such large cavalry armies in Classical.
• Helepoli now have -15% Hack armor, occupy +1 pop slots, and have -50 hitpoints. This should discourage the "all Helepoli armies" in Mythic.
NETWORK AND ESO FIXES
- A fix to help address the stats 2,4 error has been added.
- Changed the input and output chat text color to white for easier reading.
==================================================================

==================================================================
CLIENT FIXES
- Improved cheat checks for "zoom out" exploit.
- Fixed an Advanced Setup crash when changing public / private rapidly.
- Fixed a problem with Advanced Setup host dialog not closing when inviting others.
- Quick Setup games now default to 5 pauses maximum.
- Requests for in-game saves are now counted as a pause towards the maximum pause limit.
- Fixed DirectIP connection issues (see below for details).
NETWORK AND ESO FIXES
- Improved login code: We have improved the ESO login code. Users should now experience fewer errors when connecting to ESO and therefore login on the first attempt.
- This patch includes fixes for the stats upload (2,4) problem. If you continue to receive this error message, please try shutting down any other applications or services you have running before launching AoM - the problem may be related to having other processes running in the background. We are continuing to investigate this issue.
- Improved NAT/firewall support on ESO: We have added more support for manually configured NATs and firewalls in this update. You are now able to place your machine on the DMZ, and/or manually open up UDP port 2300 and the game will do a better job of configuring itself in that environment.
- Improved NAT/firewall support for DirectIP: We have improved AOM’s DirectIP support in this patch for users who are running behind a NAT, firewall, or proxy server. There two ways to access this new support.
#1 - If you want AOM to automatically configure itself for DirectIP, add the following line to the Age of Mythology shortcut:
AddressServer=”repeater.aom.eso.com”
This will cause AOM to automatically configure your external IP address information any time you select a DirectIP or LAN game (by querying the ESO Address Server.) If you want to host games behind a router, NAT or firewall, you will also need to map/open UDP port 2301 to the host machine or place the host machine on the DMZ.
OR
#2 - If you want to define/override your external IP address manually, add the following line to the Age of Mythology shortcut:
OverrideAddress=”X.X.X.X”
This option is for advanced users who don’t have a public internet connection to ESO, or don’t want the game to attempt to contact the servers at all. Replace X.X.X.X with the external IP address of your machine. For instance, if your machine has an internal “fake” IP address of 10.10.0.1, but an external “real” IP address of 208.100.50.5, you would add OverrideAddress=”208.100.50.5” to your AOM shortcut. If you want to host games, please map/open UDP port 2301 to the host machine or place the host machine on the DMZ.
